Crown Law celebrates women in law at the Queensland Young Lawyers International Women’s Day Breakfast

Crown Solicitor, Cecelia Christensen joined women from across the legal profession as a panellist at the Queensland Young Lawyers’ International Women’s Day Breakfast on Friday, 6 March 2026.

The event, themed Take Up Space, brought together young lawyers, law students, and industry leaders for a discussion on leadership, confidence, and the importance of women asserting their voices within the legal profession.

Speaking to a full room, Cecelia reflected on her own career journey and encouraged attendees to step forward with purpose and conviction.

“Women are essential in shaping the future of our profession. The legal profession needs our perspectives, our leadership, and our courage. It was a pleasure to be a part of this event and to encourage young women to step forward with confidence. Thank you to Queensland Young Lawyers for the opportunity.”
