Rebecca is a versatile and conscientious lawyer with more than 10 years’ experience in personal injury and insurance law.  She has a passion for identifying strategies to resolve claims as efficiently and effectively as possible for her clients.

Since graduating university with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science in 2010, Rebecca has practised exclusively in personal injury and insurance law in both the private and public sector.

Rebecca has acted on behalf of both Australian and international clients including insurers, large corporate insureds, local government, and the Queensland State Government. At Crown Law, she defends the State of Queensland in public liability claims including all aspects of providing advice and appearances.

  • Defending national entities in multi-party personal injury matters involving large damages claims.
  • Successfully having personal injury claims against clients withdrawn in the pre-litigation phase based on careful liability analysis and submissions.
  • Achieving early claim resolutions without the need for a compulsory conference.
  • Drafting submissions for an application before the District Court of Queensland to compel another party to provide information. The application succeeded and the decision has since been cited with approval in subsequent judgments.
