Crown Law Legal Conference 2015

Crown Law’s 2015 legal conference recorded the highest attendance since our first legal conference in 2011.

The conference was held on Wednesday, 22 July 2015 at QUT’s Room Three Sixty.

Nearly 100 officers from across government joined lawyers from Crown Law to hear from our legal experts on a range of topics including discipline and employee management, ethics for government lawyers and legal issues in egovernment.

Crown Solicitor, Greg Cooper welcomed delegates to the conference which was opened by the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice and Minister for Training and Skills, Yvette D’Ath and supported by the Director-General of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General, David Mackie.

Very positive feedback was received from delegates whose comments included: “well targeted and topical papers on issues which impact on departments”, “varied, interesting, good mix of theory and practice” and “all very interesting and much specifically useful to our work. Things I wouldn’t have learned elsewhere”.
