Harper Review information sessions
The final report of the Harper Review of competition policy, published in March 2015, made 56 recommendations across the key areas of competition policy, legislation and institutions. The implementation of a number of those recommendations directly affects procurement procedures and policy across Queensland Government agencies.
To learn more about this impact, Crown Law is offering information sessions for government legal and non-legal officers, particularly those in procurement roles.
Melinda Pugh is the Assistant Crown Solicitor of our Commercial and Property Team. She has conducted several briefings on the Harper Review, including for the Chief Procurement Officers and their teams at the Department of Education and the Department of Housing and Public Works.
Melinda’s legal article ‘Harper Review recommendations may impact Queensland’s procurement conduct’ is available here.
Melinda’s 30-minute information sessions are presented at no charge at client venues to a maximum of 20 attendees per session.
