Implementing new ICT systems – tips from QAO

%asset_thumbnail_alt

The Queensland Audit Office (QAO) recently published some helpful tips for agencies seeking to implement new information and communication technology (ICT) systems.

The tips cover recommendations for both internal governance, for example, appropriately overseeing the delivery of the ICT project, and managing risks when drafting and negotiating the contract with the supplier, for example, implementing effective acceptance testing.

QAO has also published a range of better practice guides, fact sheets and other resources which may be of assistance to agencies in entering into new, or managing existing, ICT projects.

If you have any questions about procuring ICT products and services, or require assistance in drafting and negotiating ICT contracts, Crown Law can help.
