In response to recommendations made by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, the National Redress Scheme has been created.

The Queensland Government is a participating institution in the National Redress Scheme. The Scheme helps people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse gain access to counselling and psychological services, a direct personal response and a redress payment.

For more information in relation to the Queensland Government’s participation in the scheme,  please contact Assistant Crown Solicitor, Lara Rega on 323 96109.
