New requirements for filing documents on the commercial list at the Supreme Court

Please be aware of new requirements under the Supreme Court Practice Direction no 21 of 2016 in relation to matters on the Commercial List.

If you are filing documents you must now also take an electronic copy on a USB.

The electronic court file now has PDF copies of the documents filed in the proceedings next to each document filed in the list.  You can access the documents just by looking up the file on the Court website.

You may want to keep this in mind when preparing and filing affidavit material - the affidavit will now be able to be accessed simply by doing an electronic search of the documents filed.
