Statutory interpretation training
Queensland Government officers who apply and interpret legislation as part of their daily duties are encouraged to attend Crown Law’s statutory interpretation workshops, which provide practical information on how to interpret and apply legislation in government roles.
The half-day workshops are presented by Principal Lawyer Joseph Kapeleris. As a member of our Constitutional Law Team, Joseph provides specialist legal advice to clients on questions of statutory interpretation and matters relating to the State and Commonwealth constitutions.
Government lawyers who attend this training are eligible to claim three CPD points per session.
The workshops run from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Cost: $435 per person (GST inclusive). Morning tea and a training manual of reference material is provided.
Venue: State Law Building, 50 Ann Street, Brisbane.
